About this document
Glass Sculpting Techniques Explained by gerald domingo is a document available to read on EtoBox.
The artist uses dichroic glass as his medium, cutting, grinding, and polishing it over 100 times to achieve the desired core design. He then encases the core with optical lead crystal by grinding, slicing, and gluing layers of lead crystal around the core. The finished work is further polished and ground to the desired shape. Knowing he is limited to straight lines with the glass, he incorporates the Fibonacci ratio to organize the lines in a natural-looking way for his glass sculptures. It takes 8-18 weeks
